ILSHRM Conference Scholarship
The Heart of Illinois SHRM Chapter #326 of the Society of Human Resource Management provides, on an annual basis, a scholarship for a member to attend the ILSHRM HR Conference & Exposition.
The scholarship amount is for one full conference registration (maximum of $500). It does not include travel, i.e., mileage or lodging, expenses.
This conference is typically in September of each year near Chicago. For detailed information on this year's upcoming conference, please go to the ILSHRM website at www.ilshrm.org.
Application deadline: March 13, 2024
Eligibility:
- Current HOI SHRM member in good standing

Be ineligible for reimbursement from employer or educational institution

Sharing your conference experience on HOI SHRM social media outlets and/or at a future meeting

Submit by the appropriate deadline above

Send an email to info@hoishrm.org with the following information:
- Name
- Title
- Company
- Contact Information
- Tell us why you should be selected for this scholarship. Include a summary of your academic/training, volunteer and career experience and your need for the scholarship.
Selection Requirements:
- Applicants need to be able to attend the full conference. If for some reason they discover they cannot attend, they should notify the HOI SHRM Board as soon as possible to enable an alternate to be selected.
- Applicants are responsible for their own travel, meals and lodging expenses.
- Applicants must agree that, if selected, they will share their experience on HOI SHRM social media outlets and/or at a future meeting.
